Welcome to The Modesto Bee's and ConAgra Foods' "Ready, Set, Eat" photo recipe contest in conjunction with the Taste of Home Cooking School event on Oct. 21.
Who's Eligible:
The contest is open to food fanatics in Stanislaus, Calaveras, Mariposa, Merced, San Joaquin and Tuolumne counties.
How to Join:
1) You'll need to register for the contest to submit a photo of your own cooked dish, which must be created from a recipe found at ConAgra Foods' Ready, Set, Eat website. The dish must include one of the following product brands: Hunt's Tomato Sauce, Manwich, Rosarita and Rotel. Snapshots only. In the caption, please write down what you liked about the chosen dish from readyseteat.com. One photo per entry, one entry per contestant. (Read the official rules for all the fine points.)
2) Once you've registered, simply go to the "Submit" page to enter a photo. All entries must be submitted online by Oct. 20. A panel of judges at ConAgra Foods will make the final decision on the winners.
1st PRIZE:
8 cases of ConAgra Foods' products, including Hunt's Tomato Sauce, Manwich, Rosarita and Rotel. Stainless BBQ utensils, a pair of silicone oven mitts and basting brush, and ConAgra's exlusive cookbook. Commemorative Taste of Home apron and wooden chopping board.
2nd PRIZE:
4 cases of ConAgra Foods' products, including Hunt's Tomato Sauce, Manwich, Rosarita and Rotel, a pair of silicone oven mitts and kitchen apron. Commemorative Taste of Home apron and wooden chopping board.
3rd PRIZE:
2 cases of ConAgra Foods' products, including Hunt's Tomato Sauce, Manwich, Rosarita and Rotel, a silicone oven mitt and basting brush. Commemorative Taste of Home apron and wooden chopping board.
