The rules are simple: From now through April 15, shoot as many photos as you’d like and pick up to five of your favorites to enter in our contest.
Our theme is "Teen Life," so shoot images that represent your life.
You can shoot at school, around the house, or wherever you go. Take pictures of friends and family, your pets, the stuff and places you like.
Yes. We've got a great first prize in store: a photo workshop in San Francisco from the Digital Photo Academy.
You may use any camera, digital or film, but all images must be submitted digitally here in the contest area of modbee.com.
You may crop your images and make standard adjustments for color correction, toning and sharpness in photo-editing software. But you may not substantially alter the integrity of the image. (If your friend has braces, don’t PhotoShop them out!)
Pictures may be in color or black and white.
Anyone ages 13 to 19, during any portion of the contest, which begins March 3 and runs through April 15.
The public will be invited to vote on the photos, and a panel of judges will choose the winning entries, some of which will be published in The Bee and on modbee.com.
No. You can submit one photo today and other photos on other days. Or submit all five at once. It's up to you.
That's fine. Submit any number up to five. The photos will be judged individually.
